She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair Kraft and Maxine Kraft (Legg). She is survived by: her husband Dennis Vaughn; and her siblings, Elise Kraft Davis (Mark) and Bill (Debra). She is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the Karen and Denny Vaughn Faculty Fellowship at Iowa State University.
