He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lidman and Marie Lidman (Sorenson). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sisters-in-law, Charlene Hodnefield of Akron, Iowa, Connie Owens (Jack Owens) of Lawrence, Kansas and Linda Nessa (Steve Nessa) of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and his half-sister Karen Kayley.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bethesda Lutheran Church (1517 Northwestern Ave, Ames, IA 50010).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church.
