He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Rasmussen and Amanda Rasmussen (Wiechman); and his siblings, Myrna Kersey, Karen Rasmussen, Ronald Rasmussen, Ernest Rasmussen and Linda Hennick.
He is survived by: his former wife Judy McAtee; his daughter Keri; his wife Mary Rasmussen of Ames; his children, Kerri Biebel (Edward) of Slater, Lori King (Jon) of Holyoke, David Larimore (Tami) of Ogden, Dawn Black of Des Moines and Doug Larimore (Mindi) of Ames; his brothers, Steve Rasmussen (DeEtta) of Fort Madison and David Rasmussen of Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Terri Siemer of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
