She is survived by: her daughters, Jaime Wandling (Matt), Emily Thom (Jacob) of Ames, IA and Anna Horst of Oakview, CA.; her grandsons, Troy, Reid Wandling, Aiden and Marshall Bybee; her siblings, Betty Dotseth (Ron) of Oshkosh, WI, Laura Linder of Dodgeville, WI, Henry Fitzsimmons (Kathy) of Surprise, AZ, Margie Martin (John) of Verona, WI, Linda Hooks (Dan) of Owen, WI and Edith Fitzsimmons of Oregon, WI.; and her nieces and nephews, Dana Stagner (Klint), Kole, Paisley of Cadiz, KY, Stacy Heisig (Jay) and Kylie.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 6th 2027 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (2900 Hoover Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Ames Municipal Cemetery (310 E 9th St, Ames, IA 50010).
