She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Tasler and Atha Tasler (Kinsman); her son Daniel Black; and her brothers, Donald, Norman, Duane and Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Black; her children, Brenda Junginger (Patrick) of Iowa City, Brent Black (Sharon) of Nevada and Kevin Black (Kelly) of Gowrie; her grandchildren, Mike Junginger (Kristin), Kari Seidl (John), John Junginger, Bryce Black (Jillian), Colynn Black (Allie), Bart Black, Lindsey Hjelle (Eric), Rebecca Greiner (Adam) and Stephanie Halligan (Tommy); her brother Dennis Tasler (Colleen) of Ames; and her sister-in-law Merilyn Tasler of Gowrie. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (305 Ash St, Lohrville, IA 51453). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
