She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Mortenson and Hortense Mortenson (Hilpipre); her husband John; her son Jeffrey; and her sister Colleen Claude.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dodds of Story City and Melinda Mingus (Robert) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Jared Mingus, Molly Willey (Mason), Andrew Dodds, Adam Dodds, Austin Dodds and Ashton Dodds; and her sister Susan Johnson of Maple Grove, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Red Bauchman Community Center.
