She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Lindgren Skarshaug (Lindgren) and Paul E. Skarshaug. She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Christa Langer (Chad) of Plymouth, MN and Andrea Paisley (Ian) of Arvada, CO; her grandchildren, Michael Paisley, Paul Langer, Julia Paisley and Lia Langer; and her siblings, Mary Barker (Jim) of Ireton, IA and David Skarshaug (Jeanene) of Ames. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Memorials may be given to Ascension Lutheran Church or Iowa State University Parkinson's Disease Research Fund in Kinesiology.
