We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 96, Patricia Montag in Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Langren and Ruth Langren; her husband Richard Montag; and her grandchildren, Bethany and Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Brenda) of Ada, Paul (Carol) of Cedar Rapids, Ruth of Naperville, Mary (Charlie) of Wilmington, Beth Wagoner (Norm) of Alleman and Andy (Bobbie) of Bartlett; her grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Sarah Ann, Matthew, Patrick (Ariel), Peter (Robyn), Sarah Elisabeth (Nate), Jacob (Britta), Riley and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Sloan, Maxine and James.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (607 3rd St SW, State Center, IA 50247). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family wishes any memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo, St. Joseph's Catholic Church in State Center, Mary Greeley Hospice, or a charity of choice.
