She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Peterson and Agnes Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Steve (Nancy Thompson), Lynn (Steve Schinnell) and Laura Frescoln; and her husband Neill. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (209 Colorado Ave, Ames, IA 50014). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
