He is survived by: his friends, Jim, Murray and Joel; his wife Laurie Bishop; his children, Des Moines, James Maakestad, Clare Berry (Mitchell), William Maakestad and Hannah Maakestad; the parent of his children Laurie Bishop; his grandson Westley Berry; and his sisters, Donna Pence (Stephen Failla), Kathy Finch (Al), Ann Levy and Jane Sanders.
