We announce the death of Rita Ann Lemanczyk of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Wierzba and Martha Wierzba (Milanowski); her husband George Lemanczyk; and her sisters, Lorraine Trebbe, Dorothy Mistele and Maxine Gabor.

She is survived by: her children, Mandy Ross (Jim) of Johnston, IA, Mike Lemanczyk of Maple Grove, MN and Lisa Lemanczyk of Houston, TX; and her grandsons, Matthew Ross and Michael Ross (Tom Sally). She is also survived by four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many great friends.
