Roger D. Burras Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger D. Burras of Ames, Iowa, born in Kanawha, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Burras and Berthilda Burras (Anderson); and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by : his sisters-in-law, Lois Cushman of Deer Park and Phyllis Bivona of Brookfield Center, Conn.; his children, Vickie Snyder (David) of Clear Lake, Rick Burras (Lori) of Decorah, Rene' Worrall (Gary) of Ankeny and Todd Burras (Stephanie) of Ames; his grandchildren, Alece Hall (Tim), Maggie Jennings (Rob), Danielle Burras (Anna Rajdl), Ryan Burras (Elizabeth), Aria Behne (Tyler), Jace Snyder, Rachel Elwood (Darrek), Hannah Worrall, Annie Snyder, Andrew Burras and Elizabeth Burras; his great grandchild Charlotte Hall; and his grandchildren, Henrietta, Walter, Benjamin Burras, Eleanor, Raegan, Caroline Burras, Brayson, Emery, Lenley Behne, Ava and Etta Elwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, Roger's family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shriners Children's Hospital of the Twin Cities and sent to Roger Burras Family, c/o Ewing Funeral Home, PO Box 363, Clarion, Iowa, 50525.
