He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Nelson and Ardis Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Christine Nelson; his children, Matthew Nelson (Jennifer), Luke Nelson (Bethany), Annie Atterberry (Jordan) and Ingrid Cohen (Doug); and his sister Cheryl Hammers (Patrick). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a community of dear friends.
