She was predeceased by : her parents, Erich Grossmann and Lucia Grossmann (Maihold). She is survived by : her husband Kurt Koschorreck; her children, Christine Brinkmeyer (Chris) and Gabriele Wilbourn; her grandchildren, Lindsey Wilbourn, Ethan Wilbourn and Noah Brinkmeyer; her great grandchildren, Bailey Wilbourn and Eleanor Brands; and her siblings, Gerda Boche and Hans-Jurgen Grossmann.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Ruth's name can be made to The Ames Animal Shelter or The Animal Rescue League of Des Moines, Iowa.
