She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Homburg and Jean Homburg (Walker); her husband Gerald Chase (Jerry); and her sister SaMary Lekkas (Polly). She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Jane of Ames and Elizabeth Chase Vivas; her son-in-law Gerardo Vivas of Oak Park; and her grandchildren, Gilbert, Sarah and Carlo. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ucc Congregational Church.
Memorials may be made in remembrance of Sara to either the Boys and Girls Clubs of Story County, Iowa, or to the Bridge Home in Ames, Iowa.
