It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Jane Jenkins of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack C. Jenkins and Elizabeth Jane Hoebreckx (Betty). She is survived by: her husband Peter B. Moore; her children, Melinda Jenkins-Moore (Adam Thurston), Katharine (Jordan Hensley) and Daniel (Katie Moore); her grandchildren, Liam, Teagan Thurston, Harrison, Elizabeth, Hazel Hensley, Alexandra, Gabriel and Thalia Moore; and her sisters, Pam Kowalewski, Debbie MacMartin, Jackie Curtis and Becky Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Cecilia's Building Fund or the Faith and Light Capital Campaign.
