With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sherry Sargent in Ames, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Morgan Sargent; her children, Kurt Matthew Sargent and Catherine Michelle Sargent; and her parents, Beryl S. Taylor and Edith H. Taylor.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Taylor of Salmon, Idaho, Mary Lou Guy of Shawnee, Joe Thompson of Kansas City and Gerald Edwards of Phoenix, Arizona; and her in-laws, Ann, Rob Samuels of Saint Louis, MO, Phil, Susan Sargent of Fraser, CO, Dan and Pam Sargent of Ames. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Sherry's name to the Ames Animal Shelter, a cause near to her heart.
