She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sather and Iris Sather (Swenson). She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Hemphill; and her sons, William Hartman (Amy) and Timothy Hartman. She is also survived by four brothers; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2400 Bloomington Rd, Ames, IA 50010). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
