We bid farewell to Teri Elliott of Ames, Iowa, born in Manhattan, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2025 at the age of 66. Teri touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her sister Dallas (Venna Glenn); and her father Charles Elliott. She is survived by: her husband John Elliott; her daughters, Kelsey Elliott of Ames, IA and Lindsey Smith (Chad) of Waterloo, IA; her grandchildren, Caleb, Kinley and Caden Smith; her brothers, Brad Glenn of New Auburn, WI, Doug (Vicki) of Lincoln, NE and Matt (Susie) of Pleasant Hill, IA; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Nolan of Winterset and David Elliott of Jefferson City, MO.; Scott Gray (Judy), Ken Glenn (Marilyn), Charlene Glenn and Myrna Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and so many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grandon Funeral & Cremation Care (414 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50010). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (5501 George Washington Carver Ave, Ames, IA 50010).
Memorials may be directed to the Mary Greeley Foundation, designated to the William R. Bliss Cancer Center of Ames, Iowa.
