Terri Budnik Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terri Budnik (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terri Budnik to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father John Horan. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Horan (Taheny); her children, Timothy Budnik (Angela), Julie (Steve), Winslow, Nancy Elleby (Jamie) and Christine Burchfield (Jeff); her grandchildren, Kaitlin Slaven (Sean), Ryan Budnik (Miranda), Maggie Bundy (Paul), Colin Elleby (Megan), Thomas, Carolyn Burchfield, Keir, Maris Budnik, Catherine, Claire Bundy, Theodore and Hudson Elleby; her husband Tom; Emilia and Landon Slaven. She is also survived by four children, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (2900 Hoover Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, and they will donate to either Franciscan Spirituality and Retreat Center in Prior Lake, Minnesota or to St. Cecilia School.
