He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar "Bill" Hale and Mona Maxine Hale (Shipley); his wife Keva Hale (Keele); and his sisters, Charlotte "Jane" Roth and Pauline "Sug" Gillespie.

He is survived by : his children, Whitney Williams (Thomas), Wyatt Hale (Kayla), Suzy Nordhus (Chris) and Katie Kinsella (Daniel); and his siblings, Ottis "Sonny" Hale and Donna Rowe (Russell). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
