He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Tegtmeier and Marie Tegtmeier; and his sister Marie. He is survived by: his wife Sue Connell; his children, Samantha (Chris Burt), Jesse Tegtmeier (Melissa Whitmarsh) and Morgan Tegtmeier (Ben Rice); his grandchildren, Desiree, Kelsey, Tanner, Tyler, Riley, Ethan and Nautica; and his siblings, Mark Tegtmeier (Amy) and Teresa (Rich Johnson). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Harvest Vineyard Church (320 S 17th St, Ames, IA 50010).
