He was predeceased by : his parents, Vic Birdseye and Nita Birdseye; and his wife Beverly Ann Abbott. He is survived by : his children, Victor Theodore II (Teddy) of Butte Falls, OR, Mark (Kim) of Tabernash, CO, Cynthia O'Neal (Brad) of Boone, IA and Lori Tryon (Kevin) of Story City, IA; and his sister Mary Anne Doty of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pleasant Grove Church.
