He is survived by: his wife Sandie Sansgaard; his children, Heather Wasson (Greg), Meredith Burkett and Josh Cameron (April); his stepchildren, Tina Johnson (Brian Moore) and Kevin Johnson (Melissa); his grandchildren, Stevie, Gabriella, Juliana and Zachery; his stepgrandchildren, Khepri, Jasmine, Phoenix, Nuri, Kole, Tristan, Conner and Brayden; his siblings, Dennis Cameron (Vicki), Randy Docken and Pat Mackey (Gary); and his brother-in-law Eddie. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heartland Baptist Church (3333 Stange Rd, Ames, IA 50010). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
