In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wilma had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Wilma may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Starmer and Tessie Starmer; her husband Don; her son David Lesan; and her grandson Quentin Lesan.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Brandt of Ames and Dan Lesan of Ferndale, WA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 4 sisters.
In lieu of flower please give memorials to the Ames Public Library or First United Methodist Church.
