She was predeceased by: her parents, Dial Behnke and Arlene Behnke (Smith); and her husband Michael Benedict. She is survived by: her son Damien; her grandchildren, Trevor Benedict and Kathryn Benedict; and her siblings, Jeff Behnke (Michelle) and Julie Griggs (Tom). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Viola United Methodist Church (211 Center St, Springville, IA 52336). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
