It is with sadness that the passing of Cecilia Mary Hatcher of Anamosa, Iowa is shared. Cecilia, born on October 10, 1939, passed away on October 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen McLaughlin and Dorothy McLaughlin; and her husband Jon Hatcher. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kaczmarek (Greg), Tom Hatcher (Tina), Dave Hatcher (Lesley Jernigan) and Mary Martensen (Dave); her grandchildren, Julie (Nygel Crawford), Andrew, Anthony, Michael (Leah Bohnsack), Lauren (Peyton Shannon), Donelle and Sawyer; and her sister Catherine Rogge (Larry). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goettsch Funeral Home - Anamosa (306 E 1st St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (217 N Garnavillo St, Anamosa, IA 52205).
She was a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and an early member of the Anamosa Community Foundation (Cultivate Anamosa).
