With solemn reverence, we commemorate Clara Guynn of Anamosa, Iowa, born in Luxemburg, Iowa, whose life came to an end on April 18, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Meier and Rosalia Meier (Brunsman); her husband Roy; and her siblings, Victor, Othmar, Edward Meier, Agnes Youngblut and Marie Rottinghaus.

She is survived by : her children, Rosetta Hannen (Steve) of Central City and Louis Guynn of Mount Auburn; her granddaughters, Allison O'Grady (John) and Lindsey Ungs (Karl); her stepgrandchildren, Sondra Cue and Jacob Guynn; and her sister Ann Bussmann of Spring Valley, MN.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1021 Poplar St, La Porte City, IA 50651). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
