He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Young and Frank Jr. Young; his daughter Jennifer Ortgies; and his grandson Braxton Young. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Young (Beth), Robert Young (Kelly) and Derek Young (Kylie); and his siblings, Danny Young (Theresa), Kay Etringer and Brenda Thomas (Kim). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Amber Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the American Legion Hall (300 Chamber Dr, Anamosa, IA 52205).
