He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Ellingson and Marie Ellingson (Speas); and his son Bryant Ellingson. He is survived by: his wife Mayka Giraldez; his son Brandon Ellingson (Cristie Vandenheuvel); his stepchildren, Mari Kromminga (Jeremy McNeeley), Alex Kromminga, James Kromminga (Hayley), Lydia Kromminga and Felicia Kromminga; and his brothers, David Ellingson (Carla) and Dale Ellingson (Diana). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
