With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Payton (Anamosa, Iowa), who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marion may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marion touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Payton and Carol Kutz Payton; and his brother Marshall. He is survived by: his children, Ben and Maria; his grandchildren, Sally, Christopher and Angelina; and his siblings, Michael Payton (Ann), Mary Sue Wood (Phil), Martin Payton and Matthew Payton (Shelley).
