We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2022, at the age of 102, Muriel Laverta Duncan of Anamosa, Iowa, born in Morley, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Muriel Laverta Duncan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd E. Hunter (Babe) and L. Pearl Hunter (Clymer); her sisters, Arlene Hunter and Myrtle Hay (Lawrence); her son Vandy Duncan; and her nephew Bruce Hay.

She is survived by : her children, Florence Duncan, Dennis Duncan and Laurie Duncan Davis; her grandsons, Lawrence Davis of Cedar Rapids and Patrick Davis of Cedar Rapids; her nieces, Coleen VanAntwerp, Sue VanBehren, Bonnie Allan and Lynda Ary; her nephew Rex Allan; and her cousin Gerry Russell.

After her 102nd birthday she contracted COVID and never really recovered.

Memorials may be directed to the Iowa Department for the Blind, 524 4th Street, Des Moines, IA 50309.
