He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond S. Ferguson and Gladys Ferguson (Sanders); his wife Betty Lou; his brothers, Marvin, Louis and Warren; and his sister-in-law Janelle Ferguson.
He is survived by : his daughter Vickie McGovern (Ronald) of Anamosa, IA; his grandsons, John McGovern (Denise) and Patrick McGovern; his granddaughter-in-law Diane McGovern of Anamosa, IA.; his great grandchildren, Alec Munier, Elaine Munier, Calvin McGovern, Curtis McGovern, Madeline McGovern and Elizabeth McGovern; his great great grandchildren, Kaedence, Garreth and Coen; his sister Evelyn Owens (Dean) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister-in-law Virginia Ferguson of Toddville, IA; his nieces, Linda and Lori Ferguson; and his granddaughters, Kaelee Freeman and Katie Kalb.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Viola United Methodist Church or to Above and Beyond Hospice.
