She was predeceased by: her mother Leona Elizabeth Claussen (Gundy); her husband Rex Barber; her father Albert Claussen; her sister Jolene Claussen; her granddaughter Claire Barber; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Barber, Walter "Bud" Peterson, Ruth Akers (Barber) and Linda Barber (Gundy).

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Barber (Denise), Roy Barber (Carol), Jack Barber (Mitchell) and Dean Barber; her grandchildren, Laura Carley (Jason), Leisa Hamilton (Stacey), Eric Barber (Lucile), Aaron Barber, Dean Barber II and Sasha Rask (Eric); her brother Jim Claussen (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Lola Peterson, Norma Hemphill (Glenn) and Tim Akers. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
