He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Dorsey and Pearl Dorsey (Barber); his wife Doris Wahlert Dorsey (Carol Trent Dorsey); his brother Lyle; and his stepdaughter Dawn Trent Banks.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Vais (Bernard), Sally Kloppenburg (Terry) and Dan Dorsey; his stepchildren, Lori Erickson and Cody Trent; his stepson-in-law Jon Banks; his sister Lorane Smith (Roy); his siblings-in-law, Darlene Jessen, Lois Kloppenburg and Richard Kloppenburg; his grandchildren, Curtis, Jesse Vais (Jamie), Andrew (Sarah), Ryan (Leayn), Kenneth, Starlene Kloppenburg, Taylor Blair (Josh) and Emma Moen (Nate); his stepgrandchildren, Adison, Sage Erickson, Lily and Sophia Banks; his great grandchildren, Jacob, MIles Vais, Nathan, Abbigail, Lauren Kloppenburg, Eliza, Samuel Kloppenburg, Mason and Brogan Blair; and his friend Dr. Mike Rosmann.
