She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Fortune and Ruth Fortune (Alumbaugh); her husband Keith Baker; and her siblings, Jackie and Phil.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Wiley (Jeff) of Minneapolis, MN, Kevin Baker (Lisa) of Ankeny and Kenneth Baker (Sarah) of Menlo Park, CA; her grandchildren, Barac Wiley, Nick, Chad, Trevor Baker and Bartholomew Baker; and her great grandchildren, Maya, Allison, Henry, Norah, Caroline, Malekai and Tristen.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Luke's Episcopal Church (3424 Forest Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311).
