Brook Ellen Baxter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brook Ellen Baxter (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Ellen Dunn Dinsmore (Dunn) and Larry Deane Dinsmore; and her grandparents, James Ward Dunn, Helen Fern Latham Dunn, Deane Herschel and Ruth Marie Walter Dinsmore.
She is survived by: her children, Brandon John (Becca) of Collins and Ashley Marie Baxter of Ankeny, Iowa.; her husband Ted Baxter of Ankeny; her sister Jana Lake (Kerry) of New Sharon; and her stepmother Susan Dinsmore of Oskaloosa, Iowa.. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ankeny First United Methodist Church (206 SW Walnut St, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be given to the family that will support Can Do Cancer and a Special Needs Trust for Ashley Baxter.
