It is with sadness that the passing of Darlene Mae Ballard of Ankeny, Iowa is shared. Darlene, born on October 25, 1937, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Darlene will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pierson and Irene Pierson; her husband Duane Ballard; her daughter Roxanne Acre; and her siblings, Sandy Chisholm and George "Butch" Pierson.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hovey (George), Todd Stills (Rachel) and Jennifer (Mike); and her brother Larry Pierson. She is also survived by Neighbor; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
