He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Magel (Fischer) and James Magel; and his uncles, Don Fischer and Del Fischer. He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Cahill (James) of Ankeny and Dean Magel (Emily) of Johnston; and his siblings' children, Brendan Cahill, Wyatt Magel and Brynn Magel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
