It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elma Mae Marquardt of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Olmsted and Lessie Olmsted (Devault); her husband Billy James Marquardt; her siblings, Wayne, Billie Olmsted, Donna Goins and Nelda "Whitey" Goins; and her close friend Don Pickering.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Charles Marquardt and Mary Button (Dan); her grandchildren, Nathan Button (Lindsey), Michael Button, Evan Marquardt and Nina Marquardt; and her great grandchildren, Owen and Hayden Button.

Memorials may be made to Our Ladies Immaculate Heart Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
