Brandt of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Brandt and Lillie Brandt (Lampe); and his siblings, Lorene and Milton. He is survived by: his wife Verna Blockhus; his daughters, Roxanne Rathje (Marty) of Ankeny and Susan Twedt (Jim) of Ames, Iowa; his grandchildren, Lisa Rathje (Rob Taylor) of Oak Park and Jon Rathje (Jen) of Ankeny, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Christian, Justice Rathje and Liam Taylor; and his sister Ethel Otto of Osage Beach, Missouri..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 301 First St. NW, Waverly, Iowa 50677.
