It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Mae Crabtree (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Evelyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Evelyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Bork (Sia) and Holly Tiernan (Brian); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Tiernan and Angela Byrnes (Collin).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023).
