Gail Klanderman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Klanderman of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Frederic, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 5, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Smith and Rita Smith (Daeffler); her nephew Ryan Smith; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Smith. She is survived by: her children, Aaron Klanderman (Amy) of Hamilton and Angie Jackson (Bryan) of Polk City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Caden, Maya, Lily and Lauren; and her siblings, Virgil Smith, Scott Smith (Ann), Faye Bergin, Doreen Smith, Russell Smith, David Smith (Cheryl), Daniel Smith (Lori), Duane Smith (Edie) and Jennifer Lamson (Smith). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
