He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Engeltjes and Gertrude Engeltjes (VerDoorn); and his daughter Melanie. He is survived by: his wife Judy Engeltjes (Jacobs); his daughters, Stephanie Goodman (Greg) and Heather Knight (Bryan); his grandchildren, Anna Bedard (Donny), Joe Goodman (Celia) and Travis Knight (Amber); and his siblings, Gertrude Faber, Don Engeltjes, Bill Engeltjes, Connie Pennings, Larry Engeltjes (Sue) and Dave Engeltjes. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
