He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Schoenrock and Ellen Schoenrock (Durr); his wife Holly Jean Giffin; and his siblings, Elaine Kerr, Garlan and Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Sawatzky (Mike) of Ankeny, Scott Schoenrock (Pam) of Atlantic and David Schoenrock (Sandra) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Kelsi Linden (Tanner), Trevor Sawatzky (Julia), Benton Schoenrock (Mary), Clay Schoenrock, Alyssa Schoenrock and Emily Schoenrock; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Penny, Karter, Piper and Torey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Hill Cemetery.
