He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Strope (David) and Dianna Collingwood (Lakewood Colorado); his grandchildren, Katherine Rodriguez (Hosea), Elisabeth Jeffords (Brian), Rebekah Strope-Bogus (Kimberly), David Andrew Strope (Jessica) and Benjamin Collingwood; his great grandchildren, Marina Phillips and Ava Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander, Emmeline, Eleanor Jeffords, Jacob, Westin, Olive Strope-Bogus, Rowyn, Ryker and Reagan Strope; and his great great grandchildren, Ezekiel Phillips and Grayson Spencer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ankeny Baptist Church (2842 SW 3rd St, Ankeny, IA 50023).
