He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Baker; his brother-in-law James Burns; and his nieces, Cassondra Self and Melissa Burns. He is survived by: his wife Connie Baker of Valentine's Day; his children, John Baker (Teresa), Paula Baker (Andy Schlarmann), Richard Baker (Zara) and Troy Hall; his brothers, Larry Baker and Phil Baker; his sister-in-law Danielle; his aunt Dorothy Jensen; and his nephews, Trae Baker and Michael Burns. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home (3500 6th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
