It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H McNamee (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Arble and Helen Sophie McNamee; his wife Barbara McNamee (Harris); his children, Denise Hummel (Ken), Pam Morrison (Mike) and Jamie McNamee (Denise); his brother Robert McNamee (Barb); and his grandchildren, Ashley LaFollette (Blake), Lauren Morrison, Mackenzie Morrison, Andrew Hummel (Marissa), Jana Hummel and Josh McNamee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
