She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Myron "Buzz" Nelson and Margaret Nelson (Leeper); and her brother Gregory Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Nelson (Amber) of Ankeny, Iowa and Kris Hack (Valerie) of Cedar Falls; and her grandchildren, Jaylen Barrett of Lincoln, NE, Sam Kievits of Ankeny, Olivia, Nolan and Jager Hack of Cedar Falls.
