She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Grant Albaugh and Selma Albaugh (Kellerhals); her husband James DeForest; and her siblings, Grant Armstrong, Ernie Albaugh, Larry Albaugh, Rose Bailey and Teddy Albaugh.
She is survived by: her children, James DeForest of Des Moines, Jan DeForest (Sharon) of Ankeny, Jeff DeForest (Debbie) of Waukee and Joan DeForest of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Robin Saunders-Jack (Brian), Brian Saunders, Trevor DeForest (Kristin), Brent DeForest (Haley), Leah Eilers (Brad) and Andrew King (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Cody (Kami), Jordan Jack, Zoe Saunders, Anastasia, Conner, Brayden, Grayson, Kinsley DeForest, Kristine, Lyla, Ava Eilers, Henry and Paulette King; and her sister Mary Albaugh of Lugoff. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
